Classes by Application Empty Classes by Application

Post  Fox Fri Jul 29, 2011 8:49 am

From the first of August this year, certain classes are going to require applications to play, due to absolutely -horrendous- roleplay seen on their part. Existing characters will not be forced to rebuild unless their roleplay is grossly inappropriate for their class, and they will not have to apply.

The classes that will require applications are;

Base Classes;

Monk - With the exception of Leonard & Spectre, every monk on the server is chaotic & insane. Some might argue that Spectre is insane, I would disagree on the basis that this is a facade. Regardless, because people don't know spit about Monks, they've been restricted.

Paladins - As we can all agree, horribly played excluding a couple of exceptions. Now by app only - we reserve the right to force existing Paladins to re-level if they Fall From Grace.

Prestige Classes;

Blackguards - As people generally don't see what this entails, except as a way for bad guys to get a bonus to their saving throws, the Blackguard will now be by application.

Champion of Torm - As a note, Champion of Torm will be used to represent the Divine Crusader class for good aligned deities, and will not be by application.

Dragon Disciple (Any Colour) - Will need an app for anything other than a Red Dragon Disciple, but, RDD is not app only, but do remember you need the Draconic Language to be able to enter the class.

Dwarven Defender - Will require applications from this point as the class seems poorly understood.

Harper Scout - Unlikely that anyone ever will make one, but by app anyway.

Purple Dragon Knight - By application, for similar reasons as the Harper Scout & DD.

All P&P classes, simulated or otherwise, require an application, just like subraces.

The staff reserves the right to force a build-change if your roleplay is substandard, in their opinion.

Alright, basically, due to negative feedback about this topic, we are changing our policy. You may make whatever class you want, whenever you want to, but we reserve the right to redirect & issue roleplay pointers, or force character rebuilds as necessary when confronted with poor roleplay that does not improve after attempts to assist.

I still say monk should be app only because that class is HARD to RP correctly...
