I think I know he is doing it. I'll test out a few things I can do and see if it's any of those methods. Also note, there are scripted solutions that can check for something like this in both the possible ways to do it.

He came online just before.. he has OnHit() Ruin Armour or whatever it's called, as well as his own custom items... He literally just pushed my shit in, then logged out.

Well if you guys know what you lost to the griefer, talk to a DM about it and they'll restore all your items. The most annoying thing will be crafting your equiped armor again because of that Bebilith ruin armor thing. Though we should get a script like the one in Sigil that strips items on entry with a level superior to 25, and just ban Bebilith Ruin Armor.

I keep suggesting it and getting scripters telling me "Nope, can't do it"

Since the abuse of item entry is commonly associated with client side character creation, the fix only needs to be done when a new character first logs in. Essentially the script would consist of an on-enter activation to destroy ALL items on or equipped by player unless player has specified item, in this case you could associate it to the Roleplay storage. From my experience the "bad items" come in only when the character logs in for the first time. This would mean that characters that you guys are allowing to imported from the Previous SoS are looked over with great scrutiny and nerfed.

On enter look for target item in players inventory
If item exists do nothing
If item does not exist then delete entire inventory

If you guys use a SQL database for your items you could also make an entry that unless the item is found in the mysql database then that item is deleted.

This script does exist as it is currently being used on two other modules that I play on.

That may not work, Syn, if the item in question has the same tag and/or blueprint resref as an item in the database - which is easy to find what the tags/resrefs are if they simply find a regular item and savecharacter/leto. So they could "essentially" give themselves the Roleplay storage item, or whatever token you want to use to check that items havent been removed in the past, and not lose any of the items...

Maybe a function to be able to check all the item properties under a specific blueprint against an item in the inventory-- and if there was, a script checking each individual property against another item to see if they match before moving onto the next property across a multitude of items would just be urgh and probably crash the game.
Geash is a genius.. You want a twist? Make a cross-dressing homocidal schitzo who belives in false dietys and shouts his/her rantings to the world to get other weridos to follow him/her..

Tell me that would not be intresting for role play.. Well for the ten seconds he/she was alive at least..
I knew I remembered you! Its been years! How are you?
