Special Attacks: A half-dragon retains all the special attacks of the base creature and gains a breath weapon based on the dragon variety (see the table below), usable once per day. A half-dragon’s breath weapon deals 6d8 points of damage. A successful Reflex save (DC 10 + 1/2 half-dragon’s racial HD + half-dragon’s Con modifier) reduces damage by half.

Faetyr had a very abrupt upbringing. He struggles to remember he young years, as he was taken from his mother by his father. His father had been a mature black dragon, by the name of G'in. Faetyr had originally grown up, disliking his father for his decision however that soon changed when Faetyr had found out the truth.On one such day, Faetyr had gone to consult the local seers about what had happened with his birth. They had notified him that it was common knowledge that G'in had actually been magically cursed, meaning that he could not have pureblood offspring.

Upon learning this, Faetyr had returned back to his fathers Den. Faetyr angrily stormed up and shouted at him, demanding that he answer him about the events that had transpired. Angered by this extremely sudden outburst, G'in swiped his tail ferociously at Faetyr. Having suffered cuts and bruises from being pushed in to the cavern wall by the scaled tail, he decided it best to retret from his father, before he finished the job..

Faetyr had begun to wonder around the countryside, finding a small port town with a dock. As he approached the docks, he notices a man that could clearly be made out as the Ship Captain. He approaches the ship captain, however before Faetyr even had a chance to say the word, he held his hand out for money..

"I aint just take any stragglers you know, got in fighting and stuff to control without you scaly bastards confusing things."

With seeming like he had no choice, he put several platinum in the guys hand, before walking aboard the ship. When Faetyr asked where the ship was headed... the captain merely said "away from this blasted plague".

The ship having arrived at the Kalaram docks, noticed that the once calm city had been laid to wreck and ruin, with idle zombies screaming and common theives fighting in the background. The ship stayed anchored for a few minutes, and as the dragon left, the others aboard the ship asked him "why are you doing this?". He simply replied "To leave my mark." and walked off the boat and in to the night.

Ok, so, the bonus stats are pretty stupid if you ask me. I'm happy to settle for +6 STR, +2 INT, +2 CON, perhaps +2 Natural Armour and scrap the breathe weapon entirely? I'm always up for discussion about it. Just let me know when you can, muchly appreciated.

Yeah it's...brief...wishy-washy...lacks any real information to it, and doesn't show any real knowledge to me about Half-Dragons. Much less Black ones. Try having a read of Races of the Dragon, some time.
